Electronic Signatures: A Growing Trend

Electronic correspondence along with electronic signing of paperwork has taken off since the evolution of electronic signing. Sherry Courtney will discuss the difference between "wet” signatures versus electronic signatures and how a "wet” signature can be accomplished electronically with the proper applications and software. She will also discuss ramifications once electronic signatures become more of the norm as well as provide ways to head off complaints and court cases at the start.

To receive continuing insurance education (CIE) credit, you must do the following (an exam is not required to receive credit):
1. Sign the attendance roster before the start of the program.
2. Attend the session in its entirety.
3. Complete & sign the request for CIE credits.
4. Turn in the request for CIE credits at the end of the program.
Partial CIE credit can be given to attendees of this seminar. The credit must be rounded down to half hour increments.
Requirements for Continuing Legal Education credit have not changed. You are still required to provide your Attorney Registration Number to receive credit.
